Who We Are

We exist as a local group composed of members of all segments of the geoscience community, and we are members of the National Body of the Geological Association of Canada.

MEET THE EXECUTIVE

What We Do

We organize a technical conference every year (generally in February) and an annual field trip (generally in September or October). We also publish the "Travellers Guide to the Geology of Newfoundland and Labrador", and other publications such as field trip guides. Each year we organize some social functions according to demand and enthusiasm.

Our Mission

Our overall mandate is to provide a focal point for the growing Newfoundland and Labrador geoscience community, so that its members can get to know one another, understand the activities of different sections of the community, learn about their subject and (above all) enjoy themselves.
